I like to walk along the beach and in the sand dunes. In particular in the late afternoon when the light grows softer and warmer, and when most people have left back home.

The water, the air and the light are a source of inspiration, as well as a piece of blue rope that lies on the beach. When travelling, I like to look at rocks that stretch into the sea. A painting may lead me on and often things occur by surprise.
